Need to repair my shifter and found this link by searching the forum

Anyone know where to get the offset washers used to do this repair? Any idea on specific sizes? Please help! Thanks....

I don't know where George got those offset washers, you might check McMaster Carr and see if they have anything like them. George was quite the machinist so he may have made them.

If I can remember George told me he went to a local auto parts store and bought Dorman - Mag Wheel Washers. The last one I did the only ones I could find is Offset - I.D. 0.70 Inch O.D. 1.25 Inch. Probably a good hardware store or McMaster-Carr if the auto parts store doesn’t have anything.

I had an interest in doing this but finding the washers and machining the parts put this way on the back burner. I see one offset washer from Dorman (for Cragars) but not two. Mcmaster has nothing of the sort. I always thought this would make a nice kit to package.
