planter tool bar clamp brackets
Anyone know a good source for these? I have the clamps of course, but I need the block and clamp pieces that actually go between the shank and tool bar.

Re: planter tool bar clamp brackets
I'm not sure if these are what your looking for, Agri_Supply has them in their April Catalog, Part No. 82406. Maybe one of our resident parts guys have some too. John

Re: planter tool bar clamp brackets
The clamps are the 3 piece clamps used to attach hillers or sweeps to the crossbar on the planter runner setup, not the clamps used with the 144 cultivators. I tried to post a pic but I am on the fart smone instead of the computer.

I think those are what you are looking for. Don't know about the quality, but they just showed up in the catalog this month.

Re: planter tool bar clamp brackets
My apologies tinnerjohn....you know I assumed.... that the 144 clamps were what you were referring to. Thanks for posting that. I have the clamps and only need the block, but I can probably buy it all just as cheap
Plus I am only about 20 miles from their Garner NC store.

Re: planter tool bar clamp brackets
No problem. Let us know if how they look/hopefully work out. I've bought sweeps and other stuff from them in the past, always great service, but I've seen some negative comments lately about the company. John

Re: planter tool bar clamp brackets
I don't have a catalog handy to look at the number, but if it is what I believe you are talking about, I bought one about 5 or so years ago, and use it every year. No problems. Works and fits good.

Re: planter tool bar clamp brackets
Thanks CCC. That is the one. I needed the smaller block. It tends to get lost from the rest. I would not hesitate to buy the block again if needed. Can't speak to the whole clamp.

Youre welcome Billy
Anyone purchase a fertilizer tube from Agrisupply? I just need a few things and my planter and fertilizer set up is complete!

Re: planter tool bar clamp brackets
I need a fertilizer tube myself. Mine is rotton. Is it a new product for them? I don't ever recall seeing it. Is it metal or ruber? I did buy a fertilizer deep appplicator from them. Am well satisfied with it, and it is heavy. It is made in India, but with me, function trumps origionality.
