Re: had a busy day today
That's a great day!
Seems everything I tried to get started hit some kind of a roadblock, starting will skidded logs on my right of way when I was loaded up for brush cutting. Then the only Cub I never touched the electrical system on wouldn't even give the starter a growl. I did get the chip piles leveled out in the roadway with the almost toothless york rake before the steep slope told me I shouldn't have ignored the less than an gallon 'dipstick' reading. Forgot to turn the key off, so the battery was dead when I returned with the gallon of gas (after a trip to the store). Being on a steep hill I though it would be clever to pop the clutch.... a bit scary . Still a good day, just need to remember to take it like it comes.
Lesson of the day... a Cub will run all day on a gallon of gas, but less than a gallon on a hill after running a while equals NO gas.
Sure glad Boss had a good day for a change. That cultivator is very cool! Perfect day for planting too....

I can learn quickly, sometimes it just don't stick! I did keep an ear open to make sure the Cub didn't rumble down the hill on me. I was happy Lee had good enough compression to keep it in place. Pretty steep hill.
