Looking over my carb today in preparation for ordering a kit for a rebuild. Never really paid that much attention to it before, just glanced at the dirt dobber nest filled intake port while I was removing it during tear down.
I flipped it around today and saw Zenith in raised letters on the casting. Does mean that this is a true Zenith carb? I always presumed the tractor had an IH carb mainly due to the vintage it was, but I suppose one of my forefathers could have invested in a new carb at some point.
And if it is a Zenith carb, this is a nice surprise, yes?

Re: Simple Carb Question
If it says Zenith, then it's a Zenith, of some sort or origin.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: Simple Carb Question
Here's mine. Anybody care to guess as to what vintage we're looking at here? I'm curious to make a guess as to which one of my family members bit the bullet and purchased it.
