Hi gang,
My final drive is a bit noisy and would like to replace the bearings in it one rainy day with a 6 pack of beer.
I see the IH part numbers in the parts book but does anyone have a mapping to current Timkin bearings? Failing that I could take the existing ones in and get them measured. Would like to buy them first and do it all in one fixit session.

Both outer and inner bearings may be purchased through TM Tractor Parts, one of our site sponsers (hot-link at bottom of page).

Be sure to double check the Parts Manual for the exact bearing information.

Re: replacement final drive bearings
I have no issues ordering from sponsors for some of the harder to find or true IH parts when needed. The challenge is shipping costs etc especially as I am in Canada. Something simple like bearings is much easier and quicker to get locally.

Krusty, This isn't under the Cub Forum. What model tractor are you wanting to work on?
