We've had a record breaking snowfall for January and my 1/2 mi lane shows the results of it. I've plowed, dipped, plowed, and dipped to the point that just a small amount of snow (or even no snow, just blowing) leaves me with 2-5' drifts for long stretches.
So last weekend I scored this 7' New Idea dual auger blower from a retired farmer and hooked it to the IH 966, just in time for another 12" of snow Tuesday night.
My oldest boy (12) took a bit of video of the initial run.
It's pretty sweet...

That looks like it will "git er done"! It's always nice to learn the correct terminology too. I always thought a snow blower "blew" snow. Now I know it "pukes it".

Ha! Ya, I told my wife he may have a future in broadcasting with his "colorful" commentary.
She just laughed and was saying something about a falling apple and how far away from the tree it landed, or something like that...

We got about an 1nch or so last night, but like John, proud I don't have to have a snow blower yet. We live in Arkansas, where the saying is, God put it down and when he is ready he will take it away! Applies to most of Arkansas.
Great video. Good to have you back Raymond.

Tell your boy he did a nice job on the video. The snow blower looks to be getting the job done, probably give you a crook in the neck, though.

Re: Blowing Snow IH Style!!
Great video, nice tractor and snow blower setup…the only way to move snow.
Ours is mounted on the hoist arms. It’d easily removed;bucket, hayforks and ect. goes back on.
