They all look like that when they break. As long as the shifter isn't walleyed out too much and will hold the cup up above the old weld, you'll be good. Align the notch in the cup with the forward angle of the shifter and re-weld top and bottom.

She is back together and running great, it can't believe the difference in the shifter after fixing, it had to be on its last leg...thanks for everyone's help!!!
