If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

John thats the first thing I always do is click that auto log-in box but it did no good yesterday. Seems to be ok again this morning though cause I didn`t have to log in this trip.

I am having the same problem as Johnbron. I believe that I have also logged on four times this morning. Each time, I checked the box to do this automatically and on each of the following usages I had to log in again. I began having this problem yesterday. Pretty frustrating, but not nearly as frustrating as an alternative of not being able to access the forum. So, I will grumble about the inconvenience of logging on and be happy that I can gain access. Dan

Well, I had to log in again this morning, same as yesterday morning. That indicates to me that one of my Spyware suites is doing it's job... and cleaning up cookies etc.....
check your puters and see what options are check marked in AntiSpyware Beta (Windows Defender), Spy-Bot, AdAware etc..... this may be the source of your queries.
In AdAware and in Spy-Bot, I know that even moderate threats can be removed automatically if you have that option enabled.
To my mind, it is just a small inconvenience as WinXP remembers my username and password for this site and all I have to do is type in r and away I go....
For a guy who is used to clearing the security perimeter outside of the workplace, then clearing security as you enter the door, then clearing security again before heading into ops, then punching in the current codes for the ops room or for the cypher room or for FCC or for Comcen... never mind for the safes and all just to get my pubs to go to work. ------this is like easy...
