Since Rick has been making those handy dandy Cub Karry Alls I thought I would post a couple pics of the one I've got on the H and what it can do. The picture shows roughly a 1/3 cord. Box is 4'square with 18" sides.
A guy once told me Farmall Hydraulics were no ggod and not to waist my time trying to adapt anything to it. I'd love to see that guy again somewhere.

ps, can you tell me a little more about how you hung your weights
Those are old pics of the tractor a couple of yrs ago. Its has since changed a bit. Anyway the first set of pics show the bolster weights. Hard to find and were originally made for the numbered series probably to offset the fast hitch. They bolt right on an H or M. The last pic shows what I used to do for real heavy stuff. I had to units made that bolt to the frame rails with a tube welded at an angle to hang wheel weights on. That enabled me to lift some pretty heavy loads. I now just use the bolsters and a set of front wheel weights. Its a much cleaner look that way. The hitch itself is practically unlimited. You can lift whatever you can balast.
With the power top link that box will dump without having to pull the trip.
HMMMM!!! wonder were the weak link is

The ealy modle LiftAll for the H was pretty sorry, only ran at about 1k pressure. later models and ones with live hydralics were quite a bit better
Actually John the liftall was 450-800lbs. depending on mod status. Big problem with them was after the oil got hot the pressure would really fall off. If a liftall had a yellow paint mark it was supposed to be upgraded to 800lbs. Never seen one make 1000lbs. However--- with the right set up it could still perform. What people don't realize is the liftall was 10GPM. So with big cylinders you could still do the job. I used that H for 3yrs. with the liftall and it would have done the same as in those pics. I went to live for the convienence, not power. The live pump is 12 GPM and I'm dialed in at 1500lbs. cold or hot. So there was improvement but with the 2 cylinders on that hitch I can't tell the difference in lift capacity. It just moves a little faster though.
I did not build the box. It is made in Canada. However since that pic there have been a couple of additions to it custom. That H can lift 2000lbs. effortlessly. Its has never run out of hydraulics. If I can ballist it I can lift it.

I never saw a gauge on ours, but Dad always said it ran about 1000 lbs pressure. i do know that the model 30 loader on it could pick up around a thousand pounds, or maybe a little more, which I thought was pretty good considering that loader weiged nearly tha much itself. yes i reliaze it wasn't lifitng it's entire weight, but would have been lifting over half of it.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
you are part of the problem!!!

bill,
can you take more pics of your box, especially near the hitch triangle and the powered top link, and inside and underneath of the box? i showed the neighbors your box and the carry all for your cub, and they were intrigued with the box. also how is the skidsteer being lifted?? do you have a 3 pt fork lift attachment?
thanks
john
