Finally got the 185 to mow today,--got the yard done, then 1/2 mile of tall roadside, then bush hoged some tractor high pigweeds then it got dark so I had to quit for today!---I was beat anyhow, but next session I go after the orchard!-----3 year old fruit trees are closing the gap fast between them and its a little tricky getting around in there but I get what I can and do the rest with the walk behind weed mower and trim with the DR. trimmer!
Tractor pto engine belts are now breaking tight but the sucker now does some serious mowing after me fighting it all summer trying to get it to mow! thanks; sonny
Day 2 of bush hoggin with the 185 and all is well so far!---got all of the roadside, fencerows and the other 2 gardens chopped off,--then went into the neighbors cornstalks just for the heck of it and it does a very nice job choppin stalks! thanks sonny
Man Sonny, you like living on the edge don’t you!
May the good luck continue,
I did it when he was looking at me! LOL!---he didnt say anything,---just waved!
today I had to go get my CDL re-newed and just stopped by the MF--Dixon dealer for a gas tank plug for the Dixon z-bagger and noticed a 154 lo-boy sitting on the lot!---been there for about 3 years,---kinda been abused pretty bad but salesman was busy on the phone, so told them I would be back later,---Had to get on up the road to Birkeys to pick up a connecting rod for the 504 engine!---I need to know what would be average price for a 154------(just in case!!!!!---LOL!!!) thanks; sonny
Average price for a int154 i would look at ebay but i'll guess its between $1,200 to $1,500 for a runner with a mower or more attachments. Some 154's are runners and lookers will bring up to $3,500 with a mower. It depends on the condition mechanically and how it looks/runs. Creeper tranny is a +, 3pt hitch is a plus too. Remember these aren't quick sellers nor in demand too so start low price wise and haggle.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
